Robin Wilson earned his BA from UC Berkeley in 1999 and his PhD from UC Davis in 2006. His research interests are in the areas of Low-dimensional Topology and Knot Theory, as well as Mathematics Education. Since 2007 he has been a member of the faculty in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.
Outside of mathematics research and teaching he also spends time working towards increasing the participation of underrepresented groups in the mathematical sciences at all levels.
