Bio

Luis Caceres-Duque studied mathematics at the Universidad Javeriana in Bogot and he obtained a MS in applied mathematics from the University of Puerto Rico. He obtained his PhD from the University of Iowa. He is currently professor at the University of Puerto Rico, Mayaguez Campus. He is the director of the Mathematical Olympiad program in Puerto Rico and coordinates several programs in mathematics education in the Island
