Bio

I did my undergraduate studies in physics and mathematics at the University of Puerto Rico at Ro Piedras and my PhD in Applied Mathematics at Cornell University. My thesis advisor was Timothy Healey. I also attended a course on ethnic studies at the Center for Afro-Oriental Studies at the Federal University of Bahia, San Salvador, Brazil.
