Bio

I was born and raised in Green Bay, a blue collar town in Wisconsin; my father was from Mexico and my mother was Anglo. Though my academic career seems to follow a straightforward trajectory on my CV, it has had a number of twists and turns which make me appreciate that a career in mathematics does not need to follow a magic formula to be considered successful.
